My wife and I worked as corporate consultants for over 10 years. After all, that was the path we were taught to follow. We were working 80 hours per week, sacrificing our time, and making someone else rich!

We knew we wanted to be business owners and finally took that step 4 years ago when we started our own consulting company. We were now self-employed! Hooray! This was great... so we thought. It didn’t take long to realize we would have to continue working endless hours and would be even more dependent on clients and contracts to determine our income. The business we created and owned, really owned us! What little personal time we had was being stolen by business travel and long commutes. We were trading time for dollars, we hated it, and we knew we needed to get our lives back.

That’s when we began searching for an alternative business model. A model where we could truly leverage our time while creating multiple streams of income. We wanted a business where we could work around our lifestyle and have complete control over our lives. We wanted to be able to do what we wanted, when we wanted and never worry about the cost. We wanted to know that we could help our families and friends when needed or just because we wanted to. And we wanted to be able to help others create the lifestyle of their dreams.

Well we were immediately bombarded with sales pitches and business ’opportunities’. We researched many of these opportunities and even tried a few. We went to TONS of training courses and immersed ourselves in finding THE business that felt right and appealed to us on many levels.

We ended up spending a lot of money and creating a mountain of debt, still had zero free time and were still stuck working long hours in our J.O.B.! We were broke, burnt out, and fed up. We hated that we were too tired and stressed to relax, spend time together, and do the things that we loved.
